Additional info: These are such a neat vintage item! These do have a loop on the top, so can be used as a pendant or charm. I tried one out, and it actually does respond to temperature changes! I'm not sure how accurate they are though. There may be some imperfections, like surface scratches on the plastic (similar to photographs). The gold is a very pale gold color. These are very light weight, possibly aluminum.
